When you use Terminal to ssh into a freshly installed CentOS / CloudLinux 6, you would encounter this:

-bash: warning: setlocale: LC_CTYPE: cannot change locale (UTF-8): No such file or directory

There are a few solution out there, but the best and simplest is this:

echo ‘LC_CTYPE=”en_US.UTF-8″‘ >> /etc/sysconfig/i18n
